The Return - Masculine and Feminine

In the light of recent writings I've channeled into my social media platforms, I've decided to open further discussion around the topic of Universal energy. We are categorizing the two polarities of existence as Masculine and Feminine, in this case, and in my journal entries I wrote about how I had imbalances in my relationship to these energies, and also how this was made manifest in my personal life. I share this for a few reasons - one is to reflect, since everytime we share a story we return the spiral back to its starting place and are able to sense the integration that has (or has not) occurred. Ideally, through story telling and reflection, we deepen the wisdom that is unfurling for us by looking at the same event or experience from a new perspective or angle. To perceive our own growth, in this way, is a self-affirming part of the spiritual path that can help us in our own personal expression of that wisdom but also in its embodiment. The best stories get retold often for they contain the greatest wisdom, and those that had half-baked lessons go to the story graveyard to be recycled and repurposed for juicier tales. Such is our human history!

For today's writing, I am going to be channeling as purely as possible my thoughts and feelings about the ideas of masculine and feminine energy, and how it relates to us as individuals but also the cosmic unfoldment that is happening within us and without us. I want to point out that I am not talking specifically about male or female, but rather I am discussing symbolic representations of energy that are non-anthropocentric and asexual, by nature, are existed far before sex or gender. If you will accept the proposition, these concepts illustrate the fundamental energies of existence itself: up vs. down, in vs. out, centripedal vs. centrifugal, one vs. many, straight vs. curved.... cosmic patterns that define Reality as we know it, and can be extrapolated all the way down into our human forms with things like: inhale vs. exhale, left brain hemisphere vs. right brain hemipshere, penis vs. vagina, etc etc. The saying "as above, so below" applies here, and if anyone has done any digging into the quantum holographic nature of Reality, as defined by our most brilliant scientists today, they will encounter mind-blowing conceptual overlay with what I am discussing today.

Allow us to proceed. We are clearly bound by some (seemingly cosmic) ordained principles, which keep the Universe functioning in the harmony that is apparent. These principles are reflected and manifest in an infinitude of ways. For an immediate example, we have the Sun giving light to a receptive Earth, which receives the light and produces (births) life. It is no wonder ancient traditions called the Sun 'Father' and the Earth 'Mother'. There are countless examples of this natural and polar exchange should we choose to look further - the penetrating roots of a tree and the soft receptive foliage, the softness of water yet its penetrating quality, the strong spine of the human body and the vulnerable belly....

Taken further, look at the human expressions of these energies. Look at qualities of the mind or behaviors that can be associated to these principles. This is where it gets interesting, and where I want to take this discussion, as our integration into cosmic intelligence is one of the most important tasks that I feel we can engage in. What does this integration look like? Well, for one, it most certainly is a balance between the opposites. The yogis called this Yoga, or Union. We know that life is effortless when we are in those relaxed spaces of concentration; things just flow. What makes life so effortless? It is the perfect balance between giving-receiving, the marriage of the inflow and outflow of information in our system. We are not constricting or restricting life in any way. The inflow of information in yoga is known to flow through the Ida Nadi, or lunar channel, and the outflow of information is known to flow through the Pingala Nadi, or solar channel. When these two channels come into balance, the sacred central channel known as the Sushumna opens. Thus, the cosmos unfold before our very eyes and we bear witness to the ineffable act of Creation.

Perhaps that was too heady for some. Okay, let's back up. Let's go back to talking masculine and feminine for a moment. I know I wrote about how my imbalances to the masculine energy in my early stages of spiritual awakening led to me shunning the world. I pushed everything away in search of a transcendent state. Woman, food, money.... I didn't want any of these things, so I denied and repressed any banal desires in order to focus my efforts and attention on the transcendent Reality that seemed to be promised to be by many spiritual traditions. I now feel that these are simply lies perpetuated by organizations in an attempt to continue to control humanity. It is the same issue that is reflected inwardly in our own bodily processes. Let me explain.

We learn some piece of useful wisdom that helps us move forward in life. This becomes a strongly held belief, because it saved us! Just like religion, at certain times, saved humanity. We then go around persecuting all those who do not share this belief, because after all, it is the only one that makes sense. This represents the imbalance of the masculine force that is holding rigidly to that belief. The masculine took it and ran with it, leaving behind the feminine, who was, after all, the creatrix of the thing. She was the energy that birthed it, the masculine has just become the placeholder, the carrier, the space for the thing itself. Bring this back to the concept of wisdom that is accumulated in life. We end up carrying information in our system that we feel is 'right' and when we are presented new information, potentially even helpful information, IF we are instable or imbalanced in these energies, then that new infomation becomes a threat. Because it represents an outside force. Our container is threatened. The proper response from Divine Masculine energy is to expand the container and include the 'outer' until there is no 'other'. The imbalanced response here is to contract, hold tightly to 'yours' and fight against 'theirs'. To truly understand this concept, is to understand the sacred union between the Divine AS the masculine and feminine (together as One) that I am hopefully pointing to in this discussion.

What I am really saying is this - observing our responses to life will tell us about our relationships to these energies. They are archetypes. Observing how we interact with and respond to authority, to discipline, to structure, or to males in general can give us insight about our relationship to masculine energy. Our responses to freedom, to flow, to surrender, to letting go, to softness, to vulnerability, or to females in general can give us insight about our relationship to feminine energy. I am generalizing, of course, but my point is that we are multi-dimensional and polarized creatures that exist between two opposite forces. To fully be integrated in the HERE and NOW, we must merge all these paths into One. To harmonize with each other and the cosmos, we must learn to look at these energies in a way that allows us to dance with them.

The world is reflecting all of this to us. It is reflecting the craziness of imbalance that has occured as a result of men oppressing women over so many generations, and it is showing us what the reactionary wave of that oppression looks like. The patriarchal system is quickly revealing itself as an ineffectual and poorly strategized hierarchy that seeks to impose controls upon its citizens. If we see this as ourselves, if we can truly internalize this and know that this is exactly what our ego is doing to us, then we will drink the spiritual elixir that can help us move beyond our ego's trapping games. What I mean is that our ego represents this top-down authoritarian structure, that accumulates wisdom and them asserts it willfully on the body, maintaining tightly to its rigid imposition beyond the point of healthy effect. Our body represents the feminine, the citizens, the collective, the world itself. We must listen to Her, if we are to make it to the New Earth that is emerging. We are learning how to receive the incoming wisdom from the body, to listen to Her and dance with Her. For so long, we misapplied our consciousness in a willfully imposed, top-down way without ever receiving the feedback from below. We are bridging this gap, and as a result we are now witnessing profound and powerful cosmic shifts.

The collective awakening that is happening is nothing more than the individual consciousness integrating their masculine and feminine forces together in union at the center of the Heart. When we move and flow from this place, we truly are all One. It is the hologram of the Universe, made manifest in our own embodiment. From here, we co-create in beautiful magical harmony with one another as we are each a reflection of the divinity that has created us to begin with. It is life receiving life, and life giving to life - life dancing with Itself. We love It and It loves us.

Keep it up, brothers and sisters. Know that to be an authority, we must accept all authorities. To be a great teacher we must be a great student. Avoid falling pray to the trap of spiritual achievement that places us above another. It is a level playing field. Males and females alike are meant to get along - we need each other, in fact - and this incessant denial of our sex is creating more confusion in the world. We need to embrace the conditions of humanity that put us here in the first place and move on. We ought to learn how to love one another and stop rejecting, condemning, and judging. This is internal process, please understand. Anywhere that you are placing inner demands upon yourself, or being hard on yourself, or limiting yourself, all of these things will be reflected outwardly. If you want to learn about spirituality, find someone to love and really love that person. Love them through all the bullshit. Watch what comes up. Sit in that fire and let yourself cook. This will purify the soul like no other. Practice intimacy with life and all tangible conditions. Your masculine and feminine energies will thank you. Stop pushing away authorities, or being distrustful of them, or holding tightly to your own individual ideas as if they are the only way. This is just as much of an authoritarian reign (your own ideas are holding you hostage!) as the authorities you are resisting. See this! I encourage you as a friend, as a partner in this process. I am not here in any other capacity, other than that - simply a friend, earnestly interested in understanding life and being happy, just as you.

I hope these ideas are helpful to some. I will finish with this one for today and we will hold more discussion on this as days pass. I feel that, at its core, this is the fundamental issue we are facing today: an imbalance and improper relationship between the masculine and feminine energies in our internal lives. This imbalance is then manifested outwardly in the external reality. I believe that if we all take a look inside and start to do some tinkering, it will create the change we are all hoping for in the world.
